FREE LANGUAGE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The Mossyrock Language Exchange Program is free & open to all area residents who wish to learn English or Spanish as a second language. The program utilizes 2 lap top computers and several computer programs in both languages, including Rosetta Stone and EuroTalk software. We are very informal and help each other to learn. It is fun, educational, and also a great way to get acquainted with others in our community, especially those with different cultural backgrounds that we may not otherwise have the opportunity to know. Jenny Hernandez, who is a certified medical interpreter, is there to help us as well. Mark Simons has assisted us with computer tech issues, and Jackie Morris is the coordinator for the program which is sponsored by MAAL. We meet on Monday and Thursday afternoons, 3:30 in DeGoedes employee lunch room. For more information contact Jackie at 983-3734. or ask for Jenny at the same phone number if you speak Spanish.
