Wilma Sofranko has worked as an organizational specialist in the private sector for over 20 years. Wilma's interest in social justice and poverty issues led her to earn a Master's degree in Public Administration in 2007, with the hope of combining the best of the private sector and public sector in creating greater equity. She became involved in the Horizons Project in Mossyrock, where she has lived for the past 15 years, because of its emphasis on grassroots democracy, poverty reduction, and community asset building. Wilma currently serves her community as Projects Coordinator for the Mossyrock Area Action League and is the primary individual responsible for completion of their strategic plan and timeline.
