Friday Night Football

Our kids did a bang up job last night! It was good to see others besides the "first string" got the opportunity to play. After all, they are ourfuture teams. It was also good to see some of the plays that were incorporated were new and gave some players, like Austin Knight, the opportunity to play in different positions. The new "fan of the game" concept added this year is also nice. The cheerleaders always do a great job and encouraging the fans with something like this builds community support. I understand Martha Sturgeon was feeling a little under the weather last night, but her student band leader did a fantastic job at filling in. I was pretty impressed. Mrs Sturgeon is so grea and she does a fantastic job in bringing the best out in her students. As you know, Jim and I, mostly Jim, are camera buffs and he loves to take pictures at events. This year he has redone his "Vikings Album" so you will have to go take a look. Last night he took nearly 300 pictures at the game. He loves taking shots of everything...whether it is the crowd, the band, orthe game itself. Take a look and you can make copies of anyone of them if you like. It is a fun thing to do and we both enjoy doing things with it. I do a monthly schedule update for a friend of mine who is a singer/songwriter in Texas and we havesome of his music on there.
