HELP BUILD A PARK - CHILI FEED UPDATE

On September 11th, 2009 Officer Rebecca Sutherland, Carlyn Jensen, Jackie Morris, Shannon Stamper and Rose Carver as well as several other wonderful community members hosted a “chili feed” at the Mossyrock School Multipurpose room. This community get together helped the City of Mossyrock present the idea of a community park and recreation center. This was a HUGE success with over a hundred people attending and filling out the surveys needed to complete the project. Surveys will continue to be available at Mossyrock City Hall as well as from the Mossyrock Police Department. Presented was the possibility of building a recreation center, pool, skate park, small child play area and walking trails.
