The Mossyrock Music Department will again help our school honor our local veterans with two Veteran's assemblies, Tuesday, November 10. The first assembly is for students, parents, grandparents, and friends in grades K-6. It will be held from 9-10:00 AM in the high school gym. The second assembly is for students, parents, grandparents, and friends in grades 7-12. It will be held from 10:30-11:30. Following these assemblies, the music department will host a luncheon for the veterans and their families.
If you know of a local veteran, or have an aunt, uncle or grandparent who you would like to honor, please bring them to the assemblies. It is our schools way to say "thank you" to all who gave so much for our freedoms.
If you have a picture of your veteran, please bring it in a picture frame for us to display during the assembly.
And NO veterans - you don't have to wear your uniform. :-) Please come and let the children say, "thank you."
