Blueberry Festival / Car Show Dinner Report

A great meal was enjoyed by all at the 2010 Mossyrock Blueberry Festival kick-off dinner on Friday Jan 29th. 35 partners and volunteers came together to share soups. Salads, and breads, and of course, delicious home made desserts. The main topic of the meeting was the extraordinary growth of the festival ( almost 8,000 visitors last year!) and how to accommodate that growth. The Granny Squares Quilters will once again sponsor the quilt show and raffle another beautiful quilt. Proceeds will again go to MAAL`s Youth Leadership program. The Car Show Team is gearing up for another successful car show and plan to have more than the 150 cars they had last year. The Car Show has grown significantly each year of the Festival. MAAL will be working with its partners and the City of Mossyrock to create the best Festival yet.
